The English Language Education curriculum framework comprises a set of interlocking components including:
- subject knowledge and skills;
- generic skills; and
- positive values and attitudes.
Characteristics of our English Curriculum:
We strive to provide a range of learning experiences for students to develop their English proficiency for study, work and life by providing a language-rich environment through:
- making use of various reading materials to enhance students’ reading abilities, empower free expression, and foster creativity;
- creating learning opportunities for students to practise and master the language and further develop their interest and confidence in using English; and
- promoting positive values and attitudes which are conducive to independent and lifelong learning.
